Christianity Explored Course launched

We are starting our Autumn programme, which this year is looking at the 'Christianity Explored' course.
It's a modern, video presentation of the Christian Faith that helps us to discover Jesus afresh.  Sometimes we can get so bogged down with the business of life, or put off by the dullness of Church, that we miss out on Jesus.  Why not join us to take a fresh look at this amazing person, Jesus of Nazareth - One Life - What's it all about?  You can get a taste of the course by clicking here.

Our Christianity Explored on 17th October 2012 at the following venues:

  • Mondays at 1:30pm at 8 Fern Court,
  • Wednesdays at 7.30pm at the Vicarage
  • Thursdays at 2pm at 2 Marlowe Close, Wistaston
  • Thursdays at 7: 30pm at 74 Woodside Avenue
There will be a Course Away Day on Sat 3rd November at Wybunbury Parish Church – please put this in your diaries.
Please call Steve on 560310 if you'd like to come along - all welcome.

You can find out more about the Christianity Explored course and those who produced it by clicking here

Christingle - A celebration of light

This year our Christingle Service in support of The Children's Society, is on Sunday 4th December at 2pm at St. Peter's, and on 15th January 2012 at All Saints'.

It's a time to come along and create your very own Christingle -
with an Orange to represent the good Earth that God has given us,
fruits and sweets for the good things we have to eat,
a red ribbon to remind us of how much Jesus loves us, and a candle, the light of God shining in the darkness of this cold month.

I hope you can spread the word and come along with all the family.
All are invited, and welcome.

So - on Sunday 4th December at St. Peter's Church, Earle Street at 2pm.
and on Sunday 15th January at All Saints' Church, Stewart Street, 2pm
